The problem

Administrator accounts lacked adequate protection, leaving them exposed to credential theft.

What we did

We implemented a tiered administration model and privileged access management using Microsoft LAPS, GPO, and PAM solutions. The tiered structure limited lateral movement, LAPS automated local admin password rotation, GPO enforced security policies, and PAM controlled and monitored privileged sessions for improved audit compliance.

Results

• Prevents theft of admin credentials.
• Zero incidents of privileged account compromise since implementation.
